Responsibilities:
  • Hygiene Care:
    • Assist clients with bathing, ensuring their comfort and safety.
    • Help with hair care, nail care, and other grooming activities.
    • Assist with oral hygiene, including brushing teeth and using mouthwash.
    • Support clients with dressing and undressing as needed.
    • Assist with toileting activities, including helping clients use the toilet.
  • Nutrition:
    • Prepare meals based on clients' dietary requirements.
    • Ensure clients receive meals according to their prescribed diet.
  • Health Monitoring:
    • Take and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature.
    • Measure and record height and weight as necessary.
  • Mobility and Exercise:
    • Assist clients with range of motion exercises, as specified in the care plan.
    • Help clients with walking, especially during outdoor activities or transportation to appointments.
  • Transportation:
    • Assist clients with transportation to medical appointments.
    • Accompany clients on outdoor activities and shopping trips.
  • Documentation:
    • Document any observed changes in clients' conditions.
    • Report any significant changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing or relevant supervisor.
Requirements:
  • One year of professional caregiving experience in a facility or home care setting.
  • Current CNA certification in the state of agency.
  • Active driver's license.
  • Active auto insurance.
