Red Land Cargo is seeking a skilled Regional Intermodal CDL A Driver to join our team. As a Regional Intermodal CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, utilizing your expertise in intermodal transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including tractors, trailers, and intermodal containers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any issues or damage to management.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations and efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements:
- 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $1700 weekly average.
- 62cpm plus $40 for loads under 100 miles.
- 2000 miles weekly.
Working Conditions:
- Regional intermodal position with Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday shifts available.
- This lane runs through Iowa and Wisconsin.
