Job Summary:

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sonography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as needed.
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Analyze results and identify any issues with image quality.
  • Take corrective action to resolve image quality issues and ensure high-quality images.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
