Job Summary:

As a Bus Driver for the Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region, you will be responsible for safely transporting club members from school to club and to/from field trip destinations in a timely manner, following applicable laws, policies, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and promote Core Values of the Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region.
  • Understand the Clubs' philosophy, vision, and goals.
  • Reports to the Transportation Coordinator.
  • Ensures safety of children by securing and enforcing bus rules.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of assigned bus and submits maintenance request as needed.
  • Conducts safety inspection of bus before starting engine.
  • Mandatory First Aid/CPR.
  • Other duties as assigned by Transportation Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED supplemented by a good driving record.
  • Required training, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid State class B CDL driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
  • CDL Commercial Medical Examination Report.

End Results:

Program participants will learn applicable skills that will help prepare them to be successful in life through fun engaging activities.
