We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Claims Examiner Senior to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental and orthodontic services to North Carolina's Medicaid recipients.

About the Role:
  • Perform thorough reviews of appealed prior authorizations for dental and orthodontic services.
  • Collaborate with department leadership, dental directors, and orthodontic consultants to develop process improvements and ensure seamless case preparation.
  • Participate in workgroups addressing clinical and non-clinical internal activities.
Requirements:
  • A current North Carolina Dental Hygiene license in good standing.
  • At least 5+ years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid dental and orthodontic prior approval policies is a plus.
  • Experience using NCTracks is a plus.
