Speech Pathologist Opportunity at Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic is a world-renowned healthcare organization that values innovation, diversity, and inclusion. We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in our busy outpatient pediatric practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language services to pediatric patients in various multi-disciplinary clinics and individual evaluation and therapy services.
  • Participate in staff/division meetings and involvement in designated committees/special interest groups/tasks forces.
Qualifications
  • Master of Science (MS) or Master of Art (MA) degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or Master of Speech Pathology (MSP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience and training specifically related to the pediatric population desired.
  • Strong skills in differential diagnosis of childhood communication disorders.
  • Compassionate, team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience evaluating and treating children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Extra training/skills with special populations—autism (i.e., ADOS training), motor-based speech treatment approaches, craniofacial/VPI evaluation, cochlear implant/hearing loss, and AAC.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation range: $72,612.80 - $108,971.20 / year.

  • Full-time schedule with 80 hours/pay period.
