We are seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join our vibrant and growing multi-specialty Neurology practice at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates just starting their careers, as well as experienced candidates to join a thriving academic neurology department.
As a General Neurologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists, collaborating with Neurosurgery, PM&R, Physician and Occupational Therapy, and Primary Care. You will also have opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic/research interests.
The practice schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no inpatient or night call. All ranks are available, commensurate with experience.
About the DepartmentThe Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri-Columbia offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care in areas such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, comprehensive cerebrovascular disease, neurological intensive critical care, and headache. We have expertise in various subspecialty areas, including pediatric neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuropathology, neuro-rehab, and multiple sclerosis.

QualificationsWe are seeking a DO or MD medical degree holder, board-certified or board-eligible in neurology, with residency training and a license to practice in Missouri. Candidates will be evaluated on their interest in general neurology and openness to subspecialty in MS, headache management, neuromuscular disease, or dementia care.
