We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group, North America. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditure for the account
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create menus that meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Produce and execute catering events with precision and attention to detail
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary teams
Requirements
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Catering experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of food and catering trends
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
