Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner, and appropriate others. Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members, direct and facilitate nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Support activities that meet the facility vision, mission, and goals. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide employees that are under his/her supervision. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members to achieve safe and optimal health care outcomes.
  • Direct and facilitate nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Support activities that meet the facility vision, mission, and goals.
  • Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
  • Oversee and guide employees under his/her supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.
  • Minimum of one-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing. One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in physical assessment of the cardiovascular patient and fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Must be comfortable with 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing is preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
