Job Summary:

At Vail Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. As a Snowmaker, you'll play a critical role in creating the perfect snow conditions for our skiers and snowboarders.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and guns, to produce high-quality snow.
  • Assist the snowmaking lead with daily operations, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks to ensure optimal snow conditions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve snowmaking goals.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
