Job Summary:At Vail Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. As a Snowmaker, you'll play a critical role in creating the perfect snow conditions for our skiers and snowboarders.
Job Responsibilities:- Operate snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and guns, to produce high-quality snow.
- Assist the snowmaking lead with daily operations, including maintenance and repairs.
- Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks to ensure optimal snow conditions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve snowmaking goals.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
