What You'll Do:

• Manage and administer claims on behalf of contracted carriers and technicians
• Review property damage claims from Profit Center Managers, complete investigations, and resolve claims
• Ensure insurance compliance of contracted carriers and technicians, in accordance with contract terms
• Review and audit estimates, settle claims within prescribed limits of authority, and examine claims forms and records
• Issue payments or deny claims in a timely manner, in accordance with policy conditions
• Negotiate settlements with contractors, adjusters, or insured representatives

Requirements:

• 1 year of claims adjusting experience
• Bachelor's degree in risk management or related field
• Adjuster's license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows applications
• Knowledge of contracts and transportation industry claims
• Ability to confidently resolve issues and negotiate fair settlements
• Solid written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
