Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing patient information, managing clinical operations, and coordinating home infusion services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient information and route it to the appropriate department or individual.
- Establish and maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Communicate with patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to resolve patient care issues and provide technical support.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Coordinate with procurement and nursing teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient communications and interactions.
- Participate in quality assurance monitoring and performance improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Intake Manager.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy or home health company preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems.
