Allan Myers is seeking a skilled and experienced equipment operator to join our team of professionals. As a Pipe Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators on pipe crews to perform various tasks, including excavating, laying pipe, moving and grading dirt, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment maintenance duties, such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
  • Adjust hand levers and depress pedals to operate equipment and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.
  • Discuss plans for the day's work with field managers, review blueprints if necessary, and determine the best method of completing assigned work safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Make judgments regarding the most efficient operation of equipment and attachments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of equipment operating experience required, preferably in water mains, storm, or sanitation sewers.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) a plus.
  • Related work experience required.
