Electrical Harness Engineer Job Description

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Harness Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Harness Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for our advanced aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical power systems for aircraft
  • Conduct electrical loads analysis and power distribution
  • Develop electrical wiring schematic drawings
  • Work with other subsystems engineers to establish electrical loads and wiring requirements
  • Manage suppliers and create supplier statements of work
  • Conduct system checkouts and troubleshoot systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes
  • Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $100,400 - $192,500

This is a full-time position located at a Lockheed Martin facility in Palmdale, CA. The work schedule is 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week. The position is incentive plan eligible.
