We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology nursing, with experience in preparing patients for procedures, inserting and removing intravenous lines, and administering conscious sedation drugs. You will also be responsible for monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during procedures, and providing post-procedure monitoring to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history
  • Insert and remove intravenous lines, and administer conscious sedation drugs
  • Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
  • Provide post-procedure monitoring to ensure the safety and comfort of patients
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse License with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) preferred
