Job Summary
Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a PCU Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Observe, collect, and record data related to a patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care ability, as well as educational and discharge planning needs.
- Analyze assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis and measure progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and goals.
- Implement an age-appropriate plan of care in conjunction with the physician, patient, patient's family, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medication to ensure patient safety and manage chronic ventilator patients and associated emergency interventions.
Qualifications
- State of Oregon RN License
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- PCCN preferred
- 1 year RN experience
- PCU and/or ICU experience preferred
