Health Education Consultant V

As a Health Education Consultant at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and presenting health education programs and services. This includes coordinating, planning, and delivering trainings or other educational encounters, maintaining educational and training resources, making updates to educational materials and courses, and collecting and analyzing data from classes and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote learning in others by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward.
• Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and listen to, respond to, seek, and address performance feedback.
• Provide actionable feedback to others, including upward feedback to leadership and mentors junior team members.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Conduct or oversee business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area and promoting adherence to all procedures and policies.
• Partner internally and externally to make effective business decisions and determine and carry out processes and methodologies.
• Solve complex problems, escalate high-priority issues or risks as appropriate, and monitor progress and results.
Requirements:
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in health program development or a directly related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience teaching classes, conducting training programs for groups or individuals, or delivering coaching or counseling in a one-on-one setting.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment or similar environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, Education, Psychology, Nursing, Nutrition, or related field AND minimum eight (8) years of experience in health-related education or a directly related field, OR minimum eleven (11) years of experience in health-related education or a directly related field.
