About the Role:

Carle Health is seeking highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform routine and emergency procedures, including intubation, lumbar punctures, and chest tubes
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide post-delivery care to newborns
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and families on disease management and prevention

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse license
  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification and licensure required
