Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Support Specialist to join our team at Great Plains Health.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support services to perioperative departments, including patient transport, environmental services, and supply management. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting routine surgical cases and assisting licensed anesthesia providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient transportation, ensuring safe and efficient transfer between departments.
  • Manage environmental services, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Procure and stock supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Support licensed anesthesia providers, preparing and maintaining equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Certifications: BLS, Oxygen certification (Medication Aide Training Hospital based) required within 6 months of hiring.
  • Physical demands: ability to lift 50lbs, stand for 3-5 hours, and perform extended reach above shoulder height.
Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
