We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Summa Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical nutrition therapy to patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide medical nutrition therapy and education to patients and families
- Continuously evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy interventions
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
- Supervise and mentor dietetic students and room service coordinators
- Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major
- Successful completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification by the Ohio Board of Dietetics
- One to two years of experience in a related field
- Member of the American Dietetic Association
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse patient populations
- Competitive hourly rate: $28.58-$34.30
