Job Summary

Select Medical is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our Excelsior Springs, MO location. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and directing treatment for patients who require physical therapy services.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the need for physical therapy services and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.
  • Treat patients using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and education.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in facility meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients.
  • CPR certification required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor patient needs.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
