Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the care of surgical patients in the PACU, ensuring a safe and comfortable recovery environment.
- Apply critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to independently deliver high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and promote a positive patient experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or similar setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
