We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Middlesex Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current and unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut or the ability to obtain
- Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner
- One year of acute care nursing experience
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years Med/Surg experience preferred
- BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in a BSN program
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred, but not required
- Epic experience
