ASC Preop PACU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Preop/PACU team at US Urology Partners. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

• Assist in the daily clinical operations of the Preop/PACU, adhering to established federal, state, and accreditation standards, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in direct patient care, maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
• Exhibit a high degree of maturity, integrity, loyalty, creativity, and strict confidentiality with HIPAA compliance in all daily tasks.
• Assess patient/significant others understanding of disease process and need for surgical intervention.
• Provide safe medication administration.
• Manage patient complications/emergencies preoperatively and postoperatively.
• Manage and document-controlled substance inventory.
• Utilize aseptic technique and infection control principles to establish and maintain intravenous access.
• Report significant patient information to medical staff appropriately.
• Document patient response during postoperative period.

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of clinical experience with an emphasis in PACU, surgery, or ER; ambulatory surgery center experience; knowledge of regulatory standards; electronic medical record experience.
