Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians enjoy a supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with patients and customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and medication dispensing
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
