Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HVAC design strategies for complex projects, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide advanced heating and cooling load calculations, sequence of operations, and equipment sizing.
  • Design and develop complex ductwork and piping systems, including equipment room layouts and air and water flow management.
  • Review and edit specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in completing RFIs and reviewing submittals to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality documentation, including SD, DD, and CD level documents, to meet project requirements.
  • Participate in bid phase meetings with contractors to review design details and ensure project understanding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong background in HVAC design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in design software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
