Job Description

The Normal Brand is a rapidly expanding apparel company that sells clothing and accessories online and in over 600 stores across the US. We're opening a pop-up store at a prominent mall, and we need a highly motivated, personable, and goal-oriented Store Manager. Each store is a unique experience where a clean, high-energy, and fun environment is of utmost importance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive an excellent customer experience and revenue through inspiring, developing, and leading a high-performing team.
  • Implement and maintain high customer service standards throughout the store and team.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our guests.
  • Encourage suggestive selling to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor inventory and replenish sales floor as needed.
  • Maintain a clean store and merchandise to Normal standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback on product sell-through to Store Manager.
  • Mentor and develop team members through clear communication.
  • Educate and train team on product knowledge.
  • Support Store Manager on any aspect of the business.
  • Embody an environment that is respectful in communication.
  • Ensure store security.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of retail apparel experience.
  • A willingness to learn through feedback and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with and/or managing inventory.
  • Superior organization and time management skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take ownership.
  • A self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Independent, goal-oriented, data-driven, competitive, and positive energy.
  • A people person with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong retail business acumen.
  • Inventory integrity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 38-40 hours to maintain full-time status.
