Job Description:

Deliver exceptional patient care and service as a key member of our Walgreens pharmacy team. As a skilled pharmacist, you will provide expert advice and guidance to patients on medication use, promote health and wellness through preventive services, and help ensure seamless medication management. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, contraindications, and patient information privacy to ensure medication is taken correctly and health needs addressed.
  2. Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
  3. Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations, company policies and standards. Assist pharmacy manager with establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
  4. Maintain current knowledge of information technology associated with pharmacy systems including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and point of sale registers to provide support to patients and pharmacy staff.
  5. Support the Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager by communicating relevant corporate health and wellness services or strategy information to pharmacy staff.
