Job Description:
In this role as a Medical Travel Nurse Specialist, you'll work in a 48-bed medical-surgical unit at an esteemed hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. The team primarily cares for patients with medical conditions such as COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel obstructions. You'll also assist with surgical cases, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in telemetry and IV start procedures, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and effective communication. As a Medical Travel Nurse Specialist, you'll be part of a tight-knit team that values teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Indiana nursing license
  • 2+ years of experience in Telemetry
  • IV Start certification
  • BLS certification
