Job Summary

A Mental Health Care Professional is sought by Compunnel to provide exceptional care to patients in an acute psychiatric setting. This role requires delivering high-quality nursing care, maintaining patient safety, and supporting patients with various psychiatric needs in a General Population (Adult Psych/BHH) environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and assess mental and physical health.
  • Respond to emergency situations and de-escalate crises as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and industry standards, including safety measures.
Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid West Virginia or compact state nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certifications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an acute psychiatric setting.
