Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility to assess and treat patients with wounds
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with wounds
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest wound care techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of Illinois
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care
