Job Summary

Ccsbts is seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Clean offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors
• Spot clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Replenish bathroom supplies

Requirements:

• At least one year of Janitorial experience
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
