Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Holston Valley Medical Center. As a Paramedic, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and supportive services to the Emergency Department team under registered nurse supervision.
  • Perform bedside patient care, stock supplies, maintain equipment, and perform routine housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Transport patients/residents as necessary and document care and procedures performed.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respirations, and temperature.
  • Perform blood glucose monitoring and other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
  • Valid and active Paramedic licensure/certification in the appropriate state.
  • CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Work Requirements
  • Shift: Night
  • On Call: No
  • Weekends: Yes
  • Travel Required: No Travel
