  • Utilize a range of hand tools, including welding equipment and power presses.
  • Conduct machine repairs as needed and as time allows.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
  • Mentor and guide trainees throughout their training process.
  • Install and maintain the plant's electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Wire control panels and distribution systems according to engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including motors and switches.
  • Perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to mitigate health and environmental risks.
  • Report unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly.
  • Minimize waste by operating equipment efficiently.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating mobile mechanical equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Certification for forklift and equipment operation is required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing and lifting.
  • Basic computer literacy is necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate degree or maintenance certification is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance-related role is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $31.75 to $33.00.
