Rural Mail Carrier

As an Assistant Rural Carrier with the US Postal Service, you will play a vital role in delivering mail and packages to rural communities. This position requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail, as you will be interacting with customers and navigating through rural areas to ensure timely delivery.

• Deliver mail and packages to rural customers on Saturdays and observed holidays
• Use dynamic route descriptions to navigate through rural areas
• Collect mail and packages from customers and transport them to the next destination
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
