Job Title: Application Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join our team at BridgePhase, a software engineering company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software solutions to Federal Government organizations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about empowering our clients and employees to realize their potential. As an Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our federal clients in Northern Virginia, working closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into technical requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications
  • Work with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance
  • Serve as a liaison between technical team and stakeholders
  • Design and develop new functions or improve existing ones
  • Gather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience
  • Interface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities
  • Create documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and files
  • Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements
  • Provide technical support to end users and help them troubleshoot issues with software applications
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with requirements gathering and development
  • Strong analytical as well as organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with database management and system integration principles
  • Active TS/SCI + CI polygraph required
  • Ability to learn functional concepts quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Communicates relevant messages on time and with constructive feedback to cross-functional colleagues & managers
  • Prior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google
