Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver courses that meet learning outcomes and promote student engagement.
  • Create an effective learning environment that fosters students' intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to ensure student learning and attainment of course objectives.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the CIS program and curriculum, and participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in IT-related discipline or related field.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, such as D2L, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse student populations.
  • Experience with web development, database scripting, and computer programming, preferred.
