About the Role

Nations Lending Corporation is a leading mortgage lender in the US, with a strong presence in the Cleveland, Ohio area and licensed to operate in all 50 states. As a Personal Mortgage Advisor (Inside), you will play a crucial role in procuring and originating consumer-based residential mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and originate consumer-based residential mortgage loans, ensuring exceptional customer experience from origination to closing.
  • Oversee loan processing, providing ongoing communication to customers and ensuring timely completion of loan applications.
  • Consult with consumers to understand their current and future needs and goals, advising them on the home purchase or refinance process.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to customers and business partners, utilizing various systems and resources.
  • Promote self and company to grow market share and achieve production goals, maintaining good standing for all licenses held.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, with a demonstrated ability to manage personal finances.
  • Current Loan Originator license, or eligibility to apply for and obtain a license after hire.
  • Intermediate knowledge of office practices and procedures, with intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of document-imaging technology.
  • Effective in-person and phone etiquette skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and service providers.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems and other software used for loan origination, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver superior customer service results at all stages of the loan process.
  • Familiarity with loan products and programs of FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA/FHA/VA/USDA, with experience in down payment assistance bond programs or other specialized lending structures.
  • Drive and motivation to build business in a team support environment, with a strong commitment to equal employment opportunities and a culture of respect and inclusivity.
