About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at BrightStar Care. As a home care specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as defined by the client's individual Plan of Care and within the scope of state's nurse practice act.
  • Monitor patient conditions and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Counsel clients and families in meeting nursing and related needs.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted LPN state license.
  • Minimum 1 year experience on your license.
  • Reliable car/auto insurance.
  • IV Certification optional.
  • Current CPR and negative TB skin test/chest xray.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Must be able to perform wound care, foley care/change, and/or ostomy care.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
