Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications across various departments, ensuring proper inventory management, billing, and patient record maintenance. Advanced training and experience in handling controlled substances, intravenous (IV) preparations, and cytotoxic medications are essential. Pharmacy technicians operate under the guidance of a registered pharmacist and are not authorized to perform tasks reserved for licensed pharmacists. Your performance will contribute to enhancing patient satisfaction, reducing costs, and improving overall quality of care.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a math/pharmaceutical calculation assessment. National certification as a pharmacy technician is mandatory. Equivalent qualifications from foreign pharmacy examinations will be considered.
- Preferred: one year of experience in IV preparation and chemotherapy.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Able to collaborate effectively with healthcare and pharmacy teams to achieve objectives.
- Must be adaptable to frequent interruptions and changes in workload and schedule.
