Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and guidelines to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Effectively manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, managing costs, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent loss and maintain a secure pharmacy environment.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflows to ensure efficient operations, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold an active pharmacy license in the state where you're employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Possess immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a review of your DEA registration status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
