Job Details

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in North Providence, Rhode Island.

Job Requirements
  • Specialty: Surgical Technologist

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and be certified in BLS. They will also have knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument processing, and equipment documentation.

Procedure Experience
  • Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT): Direct Laryngoscopy, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy
  • ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES: Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Peg tube placement/exchange
  • GENERAL SURGERY: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection - Open/LAP, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple
  • Gynecology: Abdominal hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures
  • Neuro Surgery: Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Kyphoplasty
  • ORTHOPEDIC: Closed/Open reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Spinal Fusion, Total knee replacement, Total hip replacement

Tact Medical Staffing Job ID # Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
