Receiving Clerk

Jungle Jim's is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt and distribution of goods throughout our store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times, providing excellent customer service to vendors and colleagues.
• Operate a variety of equipment safely and correctly, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Inspect deliveries for quality, completeness, and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies or issues.
• Notify relevant store departments of deliveries and ensure prompt collection, ensuring seamless inventory management.
• Handle perishable products with care, adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.

Requirements:

• Work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interaction with vendors and colleagues.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and climb for extended periods.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds is required.
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer, math, and data entry skills are essential.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills are necessary.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in distribution, receiving, or warehouse operations is a plus.
