Clinical Coordinator (RN) Role Overview

Harris Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the Clinical Coordinator position in our Emergency Department. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in directing and assessing patient care, ensuring quality and consistency in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and assess patient care provided to all patients on the unit
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient care to maintain patient flow
  • Support staff retention and an excellent work environment
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to the Department Director regarding job performance

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
  • Current AHA ACLS certification within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter
  • Current AHA PALS certification within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter
