About the Role

As a Providence Hospice Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and patient-focused care to individuals in need. With a strong emphasis on whole-person care, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide a range of services, including restorative care, longitudinal care, and care through the end of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Vocational Nursing program.
  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Phlebotomy/IV Certification required, obtainable within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Community health/hospice/palliative care or medical/surgical experience.
