Job Summary:

The Delivery Helper is a vital member of our team at Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc. This role involves loading, navigating routes, and delivering building materials to assigned areas while ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
  • Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
  • Secures mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
  • Navigates routes to the job site.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
  • Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials, such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
  • Constantly moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job site.
  • Constantly positions self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
  • Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
