We are seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team at Price Chopper. As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor-trailer truck in accordance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Verify load to ensure compliance with shipping documents.
  • Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo.
  • Notify Supervisor of current or anticipated repair needs.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement on license.
  • Must be at least 23 years of age.
  • Federal CDLA license required. CDLA license with FMCSA waivers will not be accepted.
  • Must possess or obtain NYS tandem permit.
  • Must have valid Federal DOT physical card.
  • Acceptable driving abstract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience.
Working Conditions

Occasional reaching, frequent climbing, occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, onboard vehicle communications systems, powered industrial equipment, yard tractor, tractor/trailer.

Schedule Requirements

Flexible schedule.
