Job Title: Welder II

Join Bush Hog, a leading name in the Agricultural Market, as a key member of our team. As a Welder II, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated steel frames and/or metal for one to two product lines using MIG welding equipment.
  • Perform welds on parts or subassemblies, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Adjust and operate welding equipment to perform non-critical welds on fabricated parts and subassemblies.
  • Maintain production quantities, efficiencies, and quality on parts welded.
  • Set up and load fabricated parts or subassemblies into jigs and fixtures.
  • Prepare the surface to be welded by grinding, buffing, or brushing.
  • Examine welds for adherence to blueprint specifications.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year experience in welding required.
  • Ability to understand and follow simple instructions.
  • Capable of performing standard measurements.
  • Knowledge of basic procedures of MIG welding required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to speak, hear, and see to perform duties.
