Key Responsibilities:- Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated steel frames and/or metal for one to two product lines using MIG welding equipment.
- Perform welds on parts or subassemblies, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Adjust and operate welding equipment to perform non-critical welds on fabricated parts and subassemblies.
- Maintain production quantities, efficiencies, and quality on parts welded.
- Set up and load fabricated parts or subassemblies into jigs and fixtures.
- Prepare the surface to be welded by grinding, buffing, or brushing.
- Examine welds for adherence to blueprint specifications.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 year experience in welding required.
- Ability to understand and follow simple instructions.
- Capable of performing standard measurements.
- Knowledge of basic procedures of MIG welding required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to speak, hear, and see to perform duties.
