Are you passionate about providing excellent service in a vibrant setting? The Village of Orland Park is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Cashier's Office at the Aquatic Center. This role involves engaging with a diverse range of visitors at our highly regarded facility, known for its exceptional services and community engagement.

Primary Duties:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and courteous demeanor
  • Deliver outstanding customer support
  • Oversee entrance operations
  • Confirm memberships and local residency
  • Process cash transactions accurately
  • Assist with minor cleaning tasks

In addition, you will play a key role in guiding guests, sharing information, and managing equipment rentals such as boats and kayaks.

Required Qualifications:

We are in search of enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement by the start of the pool season.

Proficiency in computer operations is essential. Previous experience in cash management and customer relations is advantageous. A love for outdoor activities during the summer is crucial.

Availability:

This role requires commitment for the entire summer season, with a flexible schedule of approximately 15-19 hours per week, including weekdays, weekends, and various shifts. Availability for holiday work is also expected.

Compensation:

The starting pay for this position is $14.25 per hour, along with additional benefits.
