Redeemer Health is committed to providing high-quality care in a safe environment. As an ER Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting nursing personnel and providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities- Assist nursing personnel with technical and patient care procedures
- Communicate with multidisciplinary team members about patient changes and responses to treatment
- Act as a patient/customer advocate and HRHS representative
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic certification (preferred)
- CPR certification
- Health Aide Certificate or 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
- Previous clinical healthcare experience (preferred)
- Availability for alternating shifts
- Approved in Phlebotomy and EKG procedures
- Stroke education per unit protocol annually
